In July 2019 KGH contacted us again to help with their 2020 Dragons Den event (we first worked on this in 2018). From our experience of the first event we all wanted to make sure this was bigger and even better. We also had quite a few more months to work on the project as the event night was to take place on the 6th Feb 2020.
S.C. Agency’s remit for the project was to be part of the project leadership team and lead from a marketing perspective. We also created all of the design for the project to include the new branding, internal and external communication posters, social media graphics, graphics for KGH intranet, graphics for KGH computer screensavers, hanging banners, pull up banners and a welcome display stand. We also wrote the social media plan and provided it to the hospital for them to use from the event launch on the 20th August to post event February 2020. The final part of our work included securing four of the dragons (fifth dragon was Alan Burns, Chairman of KGH and NGH). It was important we found dragons that would be engaging but equally have good presence in the business community. The dragons we secured for the event were:
• Ben Thomas, owner of All Things Management and All Things Business (leading business magazines in Northants and MK)
• Caroline Anstee, Owner of Anstee & Co (a leading independent financial company)
• Lord Leuitenent of Northamptonshire David Laing
• Ben Cohen , Ex England Rugby player and owner of Sooyoga (sadly last minute Ben was not able to attend)
• Kevin Rogers, Solicitor and Chairman of Wilson Browne Solicitors (who stepped in last minute in place of Ben)
The event itself was incredible and very humbling to see the dedication and commitment carried out by all of the staff from KGH pitching their ideas.
It is such a fantastic project to work on in so many ways and are now looking forward to working on Dragons Den 2021….watch this space
